Labor Day Weekend

I hope y'all had a fab Labor Day weekend. Leigh and I took a little trip to visit Grandma and Papa in Tallahassee, FL. We had a great time. Geems and Pop are the best grandparents ever! Papa was in a fine mood and Geems cooked up some scrumptious meals! We even did some sewing projects.

Last Christmas Leigh, Justin and I gave Geems a kitten for Christmas. Well, this cat rules the household and his name is Dixie (b/c his is from the heart of Dixie, Montgomery, AL). Papa calls him the "orange streak," but he has been further been dubbed as "a flame loose from the pits of Hell!" Grandma is always telling stories of his mischievous and at times evil behavior. He was on really good behavior for us, but he does not like to be disciplined. When you swat him, he comes after the hand that holds the rod. But he can be lovable and purrs so loud, which makes all injuries fade from memory. Grandma and Papa love that cat!
