Maroon-White, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!

STATE DID IT!! WE WON!! (Note my surprise)What a great game it was. Really, even if MSU hadn't won, I would have been proud of the game we played! It was so fun! We sat among the sea of orange in our Maroon attire. We had plenty to yell about. As we were in a rush to get to the game, it didn't even cross our minds to apply or pack sunscreen. What a mistake. We sat pretty high up (what a great view though) and the sun was shining on us the entire game. I know I am fair, but I didn't realize just how lilly white I am. Needless to say, I am cooked; I now match my maroon shirt. Ouch!
What a surprise for us at half time, a "son of Auburn" performed...Taylor Hicks. I've never heard him before. Too bad I wasn't excited. The sound system was really bad, so I should still say that I've never heard him. Yeah, that's him on the white platform in the middle...

All the Auburn fans were gracious about the loss. As we walked back after the game, Auburn fans congratulated us on our win. I know it was really painful for them, but what a WOW for MSU!! Credit should definitely go to the MSU defense. They made it all happen. Our poor quarterback cannot throw. If we have to get down the field, it's not going to happen. The defense and special teams have got to get us on our own 35 for the offense to score. The offensive line is good, but throwing is NOT our game. We need a quarterback coach and special teams (our kicker isn't good either). So, I don't expect too much for the rest of the season. My only request is to beat Ole Miss, Please!
